Supercrawl Up for Canadian Tourism Award

Hamilton’s Music & Arts Festival Acknowledged as One of Nation’s Events of the Year

Supercrawl has been shortlisted for a Canadian Tourism Award as a finalist for the Metro Toronto Convention Centre Event of the Year.

“Coming off the high of a golden Supercrawl weekend, this is stellar recognition,” said Tim Potocic, Festival Director of Supercrawl. “And it’s an honour we share with our entire community. Supercrawl was founded on the idea that the uniquely vibrant creative work taking place here is worth celebrating in a big way, and deserving of attention from people far beyond our city’s borders. So to have Supercrawl acknowledged as a tourism event on a national scale is rewarding beyond words.”

“To be named as a finalist for the Canadian Tourism Awards’ Event of the Year is a victory in itself,” Potocic added. “To have Supercrawl recognized at this level as we begin to plan our 10th anniversary is truly amazing.”
