Press bystander 600px

Megan Press

Megan Press' Bystanders is an assembly of temporary fixed sculptures comprised of objects that have been readily discarded, bought and found and constructed through a process of bundling and arranging. Interspersed among festival goers, Bystanders entice audiences to contemplate the familiarity of their identity and configuration as substitutes for human forms, architectural structures and discrete objects. Mimicking their onlookers, together the works capture a sense of curiosity, humour and spectacle.
