Peter Michael Wilson

True to its name, Peter Michael Wilson's Camera Obscura is an interactive, mobile, walk-in camera obscura. A pinhole lens on the front of the camera, will allow light and imagery from outside into the dark room, presenting the viewer inside with an inverted view of the outside world within the camera‚Äôs walls. These images will be exposed within the room on photographic paper and developed on site, in light safe drums, and displayed outside. Long exposures at night will keep the camera operating through the darkness for light painting, the technique of using light sources such as flashlights to draw streaks of light as the camera is exposing. Showing the simplicity of analog photography, will hopefully inspire participants to reconsider how they view and practice photography.
