New arrival Big Fir is a potent and promising musical force. The group was founded by Brad Germain (guitar/vocals), who enlisted the help of friends like Greg Brisco (keys), Adam Michael (guitar), Jay Bhattacharya (drums) and Joel Banks (bass guitar) to make up the core band. Building on that formidable base, the band added a horn section consisting of David Baldry (trumpet) and Murray Heaton (sax), as well as dynamic vocalists Melissa Marchese and Jennifer Budd. The band has since been revisiting and exploring the sounds of classic soul music and R&B.  Where this band is heading, no one can say for sure. What’s certain is that their performances are not to be missed.
