Jess and Tay is an emerging band that performs a mix of country-pop originals and covers. Hamilton’s Jessie Bower and Pickering’s Taylor Adams met in the first year of the Humber College Bachelor of Music program and formed Jess and Tay that year to participate in the Boots and Hearts Emerging artists contest. Both had performed as solo artists but after being selected as finalist for the Boots and Hearts show they decided to continue this early success and focus on projects as a duo.  A talented songwriter, Bowers had been creating original music since her early teens. Partnered with Adams, original songs soon followed — a wide range of songs from ballad to upbeat tunes that showcased their obvious chemistry and excellent harmonies. The pair will be releasing an EP of new original songs in the spring of 2019.
