The Hamilton Honey Badgers are a new and dynamic entry to the local sports landscape and play in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. They are named for the legendarily tough and fearless animal that has been called the world’s most fearless animal. Its image befits the city of Hamilton and the surrounding region, where strength was built from steel and the people who made it; a city eager to engage in the challenges of revitalization, fearless in determining its future, and intelligent in its approach. The honey badger embodies a championship team that will persist in the face of any obstacle, deploy ferocious defensive abilities and a fearless attack, and battle tirelessly until victory is secured.
