DFA 1979 & The Halluci Nation Play Free Festival On The Bay Oct 8 & 9

­­­SUPERCRAWL ANNOUNCES FREE FESTIVAL WEEKEND  

Tim Baker, Death From Above 1979, The Halluci Nation, Kiesza & More Rock Bayfront Park Oct 8 & 9

Supercrawl organizers today announced details for On The Bay, a free two-day gathering featuring music, drag performance, food trucks, vendors and more, taking place October 8 and 9, 2021 in Hamilton’s Bayfront Park (200 Harbour Front Drive at Bay Street North).

Event headliners will include Tim Baker, Death From Above 1979, The Halluci Nation, and Kiesza.

In accordance with provincial legislation, all ticket holders ages 12 and up will be required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19, as well as matching government-issued ID.

On The Bay merges Supercrawl-produced programming with music from the Zula Presents Something Else! Festival, showcasing a diverse and eclectic array of sights and sounds, as well as food and craft vendors.

The hybrid event’s musical lineup will be as follows:

Event runs rain or shine and the lineup is subject to change.

On The Bay will be limited to 15,000 attendees per day. Admission is by advance registration only, with tickets available through supercrawl.ca as of 10am ET September 28.

The event is free with pre-registration, but attendees can also purchase reserved all-day distanced seating in a front-of-stage VIP area featuring a licensed bar and prime sight lines.

Limited paid parking is available at Bayfront Park for $20 per vehicle. Additional parking in the west harbour area is also available at Piers 4 through 8. If you opt for street parking, please be respectful of our neighbours.

In accordance with provincial reopening legislation (O. Reg. 364/20, s 2.22.5), all festival ticket holders are asked to respect two-metre physical distancing with those outside of their households and are required to wear properly fitted face masks except temporarily to eat or drink. No smoking of any substances of any kind is permitted in city parks.

For those who have yet to complete their course of vaccination against COVID-19, Supercrawl will also be hosting an appearance from the province’s GO-VAXX bus on Tuesday, October 12 at Bridgeworks (200 Caroline St. N., Hamilton) from 9am to 7pm. Full GO-VAXX information is available here.
